My Musical Journey with ThrEE: How My Music Took Flight
Who would have thought that a composer, cloistered in their creative universe, could see their works soar to the far corners of the globe? Thanks to ThrEE, this reality has become mine.
ThrEE, as you know, is more than just a musical collective. It’s a genuine movement breathing new life into classical music. By bringing together composers, performers, and music lovers from around the world, ThrEE creates a unique ecosystem where music is constantly renewed. Their compositions, always imbued with emotion, touch the hearts of audiences and push the boundaries of musical creation.
A Passport to the International Stage
Thanks to ThrEE, my compositions have had the privilege of being performed by talented musicians in prestigious venues worldwide. It’s as if my music has been given a passport and has started traveling for me.
Three Essential Elements
- Madrid, Spain: My piece “Une Chanson” resonated with the Madrid audience, brilliantly performed by Rita Moldão.
- Berlin, Germany: “L’Histoire du Prince Charmant” was created for flute by the talented Rita D’Arcangelo, resulting in a recording that has since traveled the world.
- London, England: It was at the heart of the Westminster Music Library that my clarinet quintet premiered, performed by the Chamber Music Box.
- Carcaixent, Spain: The Vert Clarinet Quartet gave new life to my “Trois Parisiennes” in a memorable concert.
- Spello, Italy: My string quartet “Fading of Pleasures” was performed by the Umbria Ensemble as part of an exceptional program.
- Moscow, Russia: My piece “Une Chanson” is once again honored, this time in Moscow, performed by Marina Dunayeva and Tatiana Rovner.
